INDIANA MINING AND MINERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
We believe that education is an important part of being successful in a life-long career. The Indiana Mining and Mineral Education Program (or IMMEP) wants to help students interested in mining related careers achieve educational goals without financial road blocks. Whether you are a new high school graduate, a college student on track to a career in mining, or an industry employee looking to expand your career, IMMEP can help.
What is IMMEP?
IMMEP is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization started by the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association in 2015. As its parent organization, the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association (or IMAA) provides staff support and currently manages the day-to-day activities of IMMEP.

WHAT IS THE AMOUT OF AN IMMEP SCHOLARSHIP AWARD?
IMMEP Scholarship awards are $2500 each, annually. The goal is to award up to four scholarships to deserving applicants once a year. Funds are disbursed to the institution where the scholarship recipient will be attending during the fall semester.
WHEN ARE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED?
The application forms will be available beginning in January and will be accepted through the cut-off on April 15th Applications forms will be available on the IMMEP website.
WHAT ARE THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR AN IMMEP SCHOLARSHIP?
- Must be an Indiana resident and US citizen.
- Must be a high school graduate, or on track to graduate and/or in pursuit of a post-secondary education.
- Must be majoring or pursuing a curriculum that will support a career in the aggregates industry (Examples include Civil Engineering, Engineering Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Geological Engineering, Mineral Science, Mining Engineering, Certified Welder, Diesel Mechanic, Safety Management, or others as applicable).
