My name is Katie Snodgrass, and I am a sophomore at Indiana University-Bloomington studying Earth Science. I am truly grateful for this scholarship presented to me by the IMMEP to put
towards continuing my education! With my projected degree, I hope to either become a mineralogist or a munitions response geophysicist. At IU, I am a part of the Women in STEM
LLC, which is a support residence center for women pursuing male-dominated fields in the sciences, and have been given the opportunity to go on immersive field trips as well as learn
from accomplished geoscientists. I am excited to get back on campus and continue learning more about what I love!
